question about formula????

I went to my pet store and all they had was the liquid espilac and then a step 2 esbilac powder. should i stick with the liquid or get the powder. I have been using the liquid for now, but i will need to go back out in the next couple of days to get more. Scraps is now 6 weeks old and such a little turkey!!!

Okay i just looked up the nutritional values and when comparing the two the
2nd step formula has more in it.

2nd step regular esbilac liquid
crude protein 26% 4.5%
crude fat 12% 6%
fiber 4% 0%
moisture 8% 85%
ash 8.5% 1%


I just want to make sure of what i am giving my baby. He means the world to me already and i want him to grow up big and strong

any one try the esbilac 2nd step before?

Yes, I have tried the step 2 before. I raised a litter of tiny kittens on the Step 2 KMR. Step 2 Esbilac is used for older puppies. You don't want to use the Step 2 for a squirrel. It is a much thicker and heavier mixture.

Sorry, I went to look to see if I had a can. I don't.:rolleyes: I still don't think I would use it.:thinking Look at the ingredients and see how they compare to the liquid Esbilac.

okay thanks.... i will check when i go and maybe i will get lucky and they will have the regular powder. could i use a different brand? they did have a couple of those there. i like the liquid because there is no mixing but i want what is going to be the best for scraps.
