:Welcome Sozei

While we are looking could you tell us a little more about the baby you found. Any idea how old it is? How long have you had it? Where was it found?

I know of a lady who rehabbs squirrels in Falls Church, VA. near DC. I am not familiar with the area, can you indicate the region you are in,NE, NW or SW, SE?If that is a problem, must PM with that info.

Hey now !

I was taking a walk in my neighborhood this afternoon around 2pm and I found this squirrel on the edge of the street. I would say he/she is prolly around 4 weeks old. It looks to be in good health. I am keeping it warm ! :wott

This rehabber is in New Kent County.
Barb 804 966-2164

I spoke with her husband because she was with someone that had just brought her a squirrel. :) He was very nice. They are ~ 50 minutes from you. He said Barb was a very active rehabber and may know someone closer to you, if not they would be happy to take the baby.

Please come back and let us know how everything went. Thank you so much for saving this baby squirrel.

There is a rehabber in Midlo, and she will pick up from the vet near Otterdale Road and Midlo Pike. I'm a former Richmonder. Hang tight, I'll see if I can find her number.

EDIT - I found 2 in Midlo and I'm not sure which one she is. Angela Sievert (804)739-9647 and CatherineCat Mills (804) 305-2075. There is also a place on Rt 60 right across the Powhatan line that accepts wildlife. I think they are called ARK, and use the front space of a vet office.

I'm so sorry I didn't see this earlier...I'm just up the road in Fredericksburg. Did the lady you found come get the sweet little furball?
