Help. I need to find a vet in the Portland metro area that is willing to see my malocclusion baby. If anyone out there knows of a vet who is willing to treat a wild squirrel please let me know (maybe PM the info to protect their identity). My pasteurella baby has a malocclusion and she cant eat solid food. Thanks!

I'm sorry, I don't know anyone in that area. I'm sure someone on this board does. Have you looked at the Forum under 'specific ailments' then 'malocclusions'? Some really good information there.

Yep, It's great info. I know what needs to be done and I would be willing to do it myself but she's so scared and wiggly and I really need to get a good look at it while she under anesthesia to see if we can line things up again. This is a pretty unfriendly state for non-native wildlife and most of the docs around here are scared to touch wildlife of any kind. I'm considering making an appointment for a "sugar glider" and see if my local vet will let me sneak her in that way.

We do have a couple of rehabbers in that area. I will see if I can't contact either of them for you.

Thanks Sciurus1. I have a few leads I'm working on now. I'll let you know how things go.
