hello, im currently on deployment in chinhae, korea. yesterday from what i ve learned here so far weve had a 4-6 week baby approach and not leave. its a black squirrel and not familiar with koreas wildlife. i did the skin pinch thing and it was dehyraded to we gave it water which it promptly drank. we attempted it give it cheerios ad fruit and nuts but it hasnt eaten but it did eat peanut butter. i read not to give it cows milk so we didnt. we built him a alittle home yesterday and gave him a little blanket. kept him caged in and its good because in the middle of the night local cats were trying to get him. so today we gave him more water and it didnt look like he ate any of the food. he seemed to be shaking this afternoon and when i picked him up i noticed 3 or 4 fleas jumping around. so basically what should i do. i dont think there is really any animal help around here. im pretty sure hes orphaned he found us around 1200 in the afternnon and never left on his own, he just follows someone around. what do we do???

:Welcome
someone will be on to help you soon.
If you can post a picture, that will help our rehabbers.
I wouldn't give him anymore peanut butter:nono

If you will read Baby Squirrel ABC's , there are some links to help determine your babies age.
Also Puppy replacer milk is what we suggest you feed you little one, Esbilac.
We also recommend a heating pad placed half under his container, set on low.

Frick and Frack had bugs all over them when I found them (later realized they were fleas). I used one round of kitten shampoo (advised by the guy at the pet store who'd had a squirrel) and the one round got rid of them with no side effects.

I am so sorry! You made him comfortable. Atleast he didn't die alone.
