half of tail is "furless"

so far my babies are growing beautifully. the little boy however is behind in development (he was already the smallest of his siblings when he came here). in the beginning i actually thought he wouldn't make it but so far so good :) BUT, half of his tail is naked and no fur is growing (he is approx. 6 weeks old). Any idea of why that is? And is there something i can do?

maybe i should specify more: it's actually the last 2-3cm of his tail that has no fur. and then there is a tiny spot at the beginning of the tail where his fur is also very "scarce" (<---- is that a word? no sure LOL)

Got any pics? I would think possibly ringworm but hard to tell without pics.
