One of the squirrels here is really boated. Still eating for me though. She is about 7 weeks. Shes on Fox Valley 20/50 same as everyone else. Her poo is a custard puss color , almost looks like she is pooing puss. NOT GOOD. She is still eating though and I have been giving her 1 ml of simethicone before and in between feedings. She is getting tummy massages which she loves, she is on a heating pad, I've given her warm water soaks etc. I am going to bring her with me to the center to see what more we can do and find out why her poo is like this. She almost looks like a kitten with worms would, same poo as well. hoping its not a parasite.

Have you thought about using Prozyme?

For bloat? Or do you mean as a precautionary? I think its a parasite only because for 2 weeks she has been fine on this formula...
I am not a user of Prozyme, not against it, not unfamiliar with it but just never tried it. I would consider using it regularly but will it actually help the bloat right now?

I don't think it will keep the baby from bloating but it will help retain nutrients in the system. Just as a precautionary. The Simethicone should begin to help. For how long has the Simethicone been used?

I've been giving her simethicone since this morning and its not helping , another reason why I think its a parasite. She is not acting in pain or lying on her side, she is still eating but is obviously bloated.
As far as the Prozyme is it the same purpose as the bioplasma? I am going to be ordering that.
However I am not sure how it would prevent bloat ? Shes not malnourished or dehydrated or having any other problems.I don't think she is having any issues absorbing nutrients, she is very healthy other wise.

The general rule I read all the time is if bloat is present to stop feeding until the bloat is gone.
Have you read this thread on bloat (this one is bloat and won't eat but I'm only focusing on the bloat iteself):

Your goal is to get the baby to pass stool, gas or urine, and relieve the bloat.
I know you already know things like bathroom deeds but leaving everything in order as I saw on another post:
1. You must stimulate the baby to poop.
2. NO food until bloat goes down.
3. Give baby warm baths, from shoulders down, and massage the baby. Do NOT let the baby get chilled. Dry it off as best as possible.
4. Take baby back to Pedialyte for several feedings to flush its system.
5, Then start SLOWLY back up on the formula, starting at a dilute mixture, and coming back full strength over several (3) days.
6. If using powdered formula...Do NOT shake it. It must have no bubbles in it at all before feeding.

Update*
Things are back to normal last night.. Poo is solid and normal and no more bloat. I am actually thinking maybe some type of impaction , because she was suddenlly pooing lose stool and after the massaging a yellow slimey covered lump came out. NO clue what it was. I am thinking she either swallowed something out of desperation before I got her or she found something in the carrier. NO clue. Regardless she was still hungry and I wasn't about to deprive her of food. Most bloat cases ( at least the ones I have experienced) act completely different ie: In pain, laying on side or belly, no appetite, no producing stool. And I know these guys are not chinchillas but with chinchillas you need to keep the gut moving to prevent stasis, so being this one was pooing and hungry ... My gut instinct was to let her eat.
I am keeping an eye on her but so far so good.
