My baby squirrel weighs 3 oz. according to my package scale.
His eyes are open so I thought he was 5 weeks old.

Is he underweight?

Can someone please help me with the 5%-7% feeding calculations?
One ml is the same as one cc right?

Thanks in advance, you are all very friendly and helpful! :crazy

Here's a picture of the little bugger. He's not eating the bean, he just likes to hold it and gnaw on the edges, but he's not able to bite any off.

He looks fine and he is precious!!! 1 mil is the same as 1 cc. I'll try to find that or see if someone can post the 5-7% feeding calculations for you.

There is not a weight chart that I know of on baby greys because it varies so much. Your baby looks healthy to me. :thumbsup

1 oz = ~ 28 grams so she weighs 84 grams. 5% is 4.2 cc, 6% is 5 cc, 7% is 5.9 cc.

Here is a link to a site recommended by this board: squirreltales.org
You can also go to the bottom of your page and look in all the different forums for babies.:thumbsup

here is how i make the calculations:

lets say your squirrel weights 70 grams (grams not ounces). to get 5% or 7% of his body weight you do the following:

70grams times 0.05= 3.5cc
70 grams times 0.07= 4.9cc
