I have had a baby squirrel for 13 days now he was about 2 or 3 days old when I got him I am giving him the right 2to 1 espilac . three times now he threw his arms in up and became limp he hadn't snorked his food and when he came out of it wanted the rest of his bot. He did bark twice which is odd for him. his body temp was fine and milk warm. I have raised many squirrels but never ran into this in an infant any advise for my Peanut.

no that baby still wanted to nurse, peanut gasps once curls in tight ball barks it only lasts a minute then he's ready to eat again he's limp at first. he is very healthy otherwise.

He might be aspirating the formula. Be very careful to hold the bottle with the nipple pointing UP at the squirrel's mouth, and feed only a tiny amount at a time. If formula comes out the nose, hold the baby upside down and wipe his nose, and try again, going much slower. Aspiration can lead to pneumonia, which is deadly in babies. Good luck.
