5wk old orphan not pooping still after 4days!!

Hi please can anybody give me some advice on a little 5 wk old baby squirrel (eyes just opened) that i have had brought to me on Friday night, she was warmed up and then re-hydrated bas usual but she STILL hasn't had a "Proper Poop" she had 1 small dark colored grain of poop on Saturday, then on Sunday it looked as if she was about to do a Good poop - the correct color and everything but again on did "one" tiny little grain of rice size poop, i know it can be normal for this to happen at first at 1st but to go on This long without a Proper poop is now a bit of a worry. And she absolutely hates having me mess with her trying to get her to go , she is fine for me to "wee" her but then after that she doesn't want to know and cries to be snuggled up again. She was on Re-hydration fluids for a day then formula, a day etc. :dono

I've had a really dehydrated baby go four days without going poop. Try taking a q-tip and dipping it in really warm water and rubbing her tummy. Keep dipping it back in the warm water . Then keep stimulating her with the q-tip to see if she can go. Maybe this will help, I hope so.

Are you still giving her rehydrating fluids? No she had her normal formula this morning buy i did just give her a little pre-boiled warm water with a "very little tiny" touch of diluted fruit juice drink added to it instead of her formula to see if that would help.

Also, your baby may need some probiotics. You can get yogurt (with live cultures, and NO artificial sweeteners) and put a little in with her formula. That may help. Oh good yes i did think about that but was unsure Yes i will do that asap. Thank you for all your help.:thumbsup
