Someone asked for a picture. Here's the webpage I put up for "Chip." If anyone is very familiar with chipmunks, I'm curious if you agree with my assessment of species (at the bottom of the page).

Chip is beautiful. Being on the east coast I have worked with the eastern chipmunk. They are brats. :D I'm not sure of the temperment or your subspecies, but easterns don't tame well. I love your set up of caging.:thumbsup
