When I was feeding Henry today, he took a big gulp of milk. I immediately tipped him upside down and he sneezed for a bit. I kept him like that till he stopped sneezing and was quiet.I'm not sure if it even made it passed his lips- when I saw it on his tongue- I turned him over immediatly. I saw it as it came out and maybe it dripped on his nose as he was upside down- none came out of his nose.

If pneumonia were to develop- how long do you think it might be before I see / hear signs? What should I do from here?

I am so mad at myself- this is the first time this has happened and I love them both so much. So far, I've managed not to let this happen to Rhubarb, thank goodness. And Henry has gotten so robust and healthy. Now I'm worried.

Good Morning

As I mentioned in my PM DON'T PANIC You did just right. :thumbsup

What you are listening for is a distinct "clicking" sound coming from the chest/lungs when breathing. This could start anytime in the next 24 hours depending on if and how much fluid got into the lungs.

Again don't panic - you did good. :)

That happened quite a few times with the Fab 5 .....I would immediently tip them upside down and they were all fine. I think that the older they become there is a few weeks where they do become more agressive suckers before they can handle it. It passed to......and then they became quite good at eating quicker and more efficiently....

I think you don't need to worry.
