Thought so but never hurts to check he is gaing 15-20grams a week seems like he's growing so fast he's the first baby I have saved. He was getting ate alive by fire ants when I found him poor guy was so tiny I didn't think I would be able to save him but 2 weeks later up and being squirrely and it's all because of information I found here that made the difference.

Yep, Hammy can take 4.5-6ml per feeding. See how he does with the 4.5 for a couple of feedings and then, so long as his poops are perfect, you can increase a bit more if he still seems hungry.

Note: Just a reminder that the 5-7% is a guideline, not a strict parameter. Some babies cannot handle even 5% at first; others can go up to 10% and be absolutely fine. Observe the baby as an individual, and most importantly - watch the poop! Pale or white poop that is mushy means OVERFEEDING.
