    Default Wicker....as a snack

Found Squirrelie Dibble eating a wicker basket today. How much trouble am I in? Any experiences with this type of ingestion? Symptoms to watch for?

Sammy has probably eaten his weight in wicker... You don't want them to do it because it seems splintery, but it likely won't kill him.

Jazzy hasn't eaten any wicker, but I've bought some baskets especially for him to chew up. They're made of willow & sea grass, uncoated/natural. Maybe if you got him one or 2 that are just for him, he will leave the wicker alone....?

I threw the basket out. I didn't mind the mess, but it did bother me. My years in the vet clinic taught me splinters=bad. SHE is fine today, so I over-reacted I'm sure.
