Default Worried about two baby wilds

I saw 2 new red squirrels around my property today, for the first time all year. Haven't seen a mother all year or today either. This is around the time of year they first start exploring in my climate.

They seem relatively capable but are still quite small, and they hung around a tree and fed/napped all day. Now they are getting tired and are just camped up a tree, exposed without a nest, I don't know where they came from but it wasn't this particular tree. It's going to be 40 degrees overnight.

This could have been their first day out of the nest so I'm worried about how they'll fare. They are old enough to be eating solid food it seems like and were getting territorial with each other.

Thanks for any advice or comments

Aww .... I bet they're adorable I'm not sure about Reds....I know they're small....so maybe they are older than they appear could be siblings first venturing out I'd keep an eye on them.....maybe some fresh water and food I don't think the temps will matter because they've been out all along. I hope they hang around Good luck

When despair for the world grows in me
and I wake in the night at the least sound
in fear of what my life and my children’s lives may be,
I go and lie down where the wood drake
rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds.
I come into the peace of wild things
who do not tax their lives with forethought
of grief. I come into the presence of still water.
And I feel above me the day-blind stars
waiting with their light. For a time
I rest in the grace of the world, and am free.

Do you have any photos? Can you take some? What is the update for today?

I wouldn't worry too much. I have some siblings that play under the same tree daily and hang out there. They will watch out for each other.
