turning my spare room into my girl Bonnies room...does anyone have any good ideas? What kind of trees or plants are edible for them...
First off, make sure to squirrel proof the room very well - you would be surprised what all they can find to get into - anything from chewing electrical cords to getting tangled in mini blinds. Tree branches to chew and climb on, boxes with holes to explore (I sometimes hide treats in them for them to find), I occasionally give a roll of toilet paper to play and nest with - Oh, and hammocks are good too. Cat trees are also a favorite - since they are so costly, my hubby took some long pieces of wood, built a stand for them, and covered them with the indoor/outdoor carpet and my guy plays on it constantly. Also, I attached a piece of it to the wall and they love to climb on it.
