My squirrels are rubbing their butts on everything!

Hi everyone, this is my first post on this website and I am hoping someone can help me! I have two male squirrels, Nutmeg and Ginger. They are about 9-10 weeks old and have been in my care for about 4 weeks. Today I noticed that both boys are rubbing their butts on everything, they have never done this before. I check both of their bottoms and didn't see any worms, bugs, scabs, etc. Both of them have been pooping today, so I am not sure why they are doing this. Is it possible they have worms even though I haven't seen anything? Or are the possibly marking their territory? Any thoughts would be appreciated!

That is their version of saying "mine, mine, mine!!!". They do it all the time!

Oh, great! I was worried about my babies for a little bit. They rubbed their little butts on my fiancé leg haha, but that's mine!:toung3
