Not sure...could it be a wild persimmon tree? Not sure if they're good for squirrels Just a guess

When despair for the world grows in me
and I wake in the night at the least sound
in fear of what my life and my children’s lives may be,
I go and lie down where the wood drake
rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds.
I come into the peace of wild things
who do not tax their lives with forethought
of grief. I come into the presence of still water.
And I feel above me the day-blind stars
waiting with their light. For a time
I rest in the grace of the world, and am free.

The fruit looks a little small for Persimmon. They look kinda like Holly berries, but orange when ripe. I've fed them to Chi Chi before and she never got ill. Seen birds eating them.My Peafowl loves them.I ate about 6 berries today. They taste sweet at the front, then a little bitter at the finish. They have a hard pit in the middle.

It looks like the Kumquat tree my neighbor has in her back yard and the squirrels love it.
....... and I love them too.

Glad of this because, LoLa mainly likes wild foods and won't touch any store bought fruits or veggies much, and i have to go through a Gauntlet of attitude to get her to eat her Henry blocks each morning.

You're quite welcome. What's funny , after a couple of berries, the squirrels dropped them ,, seemed to look at me, and say "Eh,,, what else ya got?"
