New home is finished!!

The new home is finished. I am going to attempt to put some pictures on here. I am not so good at doing that yet ...
We are going to add some branches today and perhaps even a swing. The purses and hammock are working great. Thank you again for the ideas.
We have a wooden bottom that slides out for cleaning and wire underneath to prevent escaping. We added some dirt and pine straw from the back yard.
One of the boys, Luke has discovered the fun of climbing under the pine straw and digging in the dirt. (Where I live, pines make up for 85% of the forest.) My husband is not a carpenter, but I think he did a swell job.
Total cost for all materials - $85.00. Lowes would have probably been cheaper, but a new Ace opened up around the corner and we were trying to be good neighbors.

Congratulations!! Your hubby did an amazing job -- that is a beautiful habitat! I'm sure Princess Leia, Han and Luke are thrilled with it too.

Tell your husband well done on the new grey squirrel habitat. If you all lived closer I would pay him to construct one for me. Stacey

Very nice looking cage/home! Looks like it has most everything a squirrel could need!
