Default Are cooked veggies ok to give to my little guy?

My Pinky is doing great. He is growing fast. I weighed him today and he is now 8.8 oz. Big difference from 30 grams!!! He is just discovering his water bottle and is eating a variety of fresh fruits and veggies. Can he also have little tastes of cooked veggies, like peas? His cage is right next to our table and he is so much fun to watch while we dine. He acts silly and rolls around and jumps up and down when I talk to him. He is a little clown. I gave him a taste of a cooked pea and he liked it....then I thought afterwards....oh boy, I wonder if it was ok to give him. We have had him since Aug 15th and every day is a joy watching him grow from a little pink alien looking creature to a really cute baby squirrel.
    Thanks,
    Pinkymom

That is so endearing!... He does look like a cute and healthy little boy!... As for the cooked veggies, I don't think there should be a problem... It might be not so much cooked or not as the kind of vegetable (a "good" kind vs. "not so good"), but let's see what the experienced people will say...
    but he is adorable, indeed!

any veggie is a good veggie..
I do think veggies lose some nutrients when cooked, but I will also let others with more nutritional info answer..
I would give my sqs cooked veggies though, if they liked them!
Love your white cage...my Jane has a white cage also! she loves it too!

I agree....cooked, raw, frozen, dried. Avoid canned because of the high salt though.
