    Default Dinner at Anne's

Just a quick snap shot of the bowls ready for the kids. Wasn't able to post earlier. I am including a picture of my NR Mitch on Chas' back. You think Jackie has fat squirrels? Meet my Mitchy baby!

O my goodness! You'll have to put a little white beard and Santa suit on Mitch! What a roly-poly!

OMG!!!! How many does that feed?

I have to chop for 13 every day. You sure have more than that.

    Mitch is a handsome fellow.

oof! poor Chas! yep I vote Mitch to play Santa Squirrel

Anne, you and Jackie and Tomo put me to shame with your beautiful bowls...everything measured out so perfectly. I start out every season using them and end up just piling stuff on their shelves in the cage....they dump the bowls over within the first two minutes and then nobody can find the food maybe I just get the sloppy babies with no manners.

I have to suit up in combat gear to retrieve said bowls daily...
and I still end up with gooey yucky shelves...
maybe you are smart IR....and Anne and I just don't have enough hands to juggle 645 sqs worth of veggies...yeah, that's it!
I actually get edgee at meal time...I never have enough bowls, always doing strip searches...home invasions, moving mts to find milk bowls...
and we have until Feb... chuckle chuckle...

Well over a hundred squirrels of all ages find a way to my house every year. The bowls in the picture are for my NR's (4),release cage guys, and young ones to be over-wintered-yes there are quite a lot of them! I am still receiving eyes closed babies here! A lot for essentially one person to feed (and on social security, too!)
IR, my trick is to put romaine and leafy veggies on the very top. Mine still toss food over their shoulders to "sift" to the good stuff-but that is reduced Also bowls go on the bottom of the cage and not on the shelf, less height to landing

I love your photo Anne! I printed for the husband. He gets worried when I have 5 bowls for the winter kids. I am in awe! I would love to see all your sweeties. I'm excited when I have 10 at once. Thanks for sharing. Its great to meet so many wonderful squirrel lovers! Yes and a Santa Suit is in order - Ginger can be Mrs. Clause!

That Mitch sure is a fluffly fella!

Wish we lived closer to one another. Joe and I would be over to help you prepare for the cold snap coming this week.

Stay bundled! Give your babies all kisses for me ... including that adorable Pixie! I think I am in L-O-V-E!

    That's no squirrel! That's a groundhog with a tail.
