Inside the queen palm date there is a nut that looks like a small coconut. You have to break the date open with a hammer to get to it. The meat inside strongly resembles a coconut.

I've been trying to find nutritional information about the nuts but there is very little information on the internet and most of the information contradicts each other.

I do know that the nut is fed to macaws and parrots along with the date. I found one article that said they have calcium and other vitamins but I can't find a break down of it's nutritional value.

Can someone help me find the information I am looking for?
