Somebody's Mother

I never even saw a picture of you. But I talked to your mommy on the phone and I read her posts on this board. In my heart and in my head I knew exactly what you looked like.
You brought your mommy and all of us so much joy. You had your squirrel girl BH. And of all the grey squirrels in the world I believe you would have been the one that learned to fly like Dinky.
I know you are up in heaven looking down at us. I know in heaven there is no sadness but if you see your mommy right now I am sure you have a little tear in your eye. She loves you so very much.
I don't know why or how someone could be so cruel to you or your mommy. If any of us on this board could of prevented your having to leave this earth so young we would have.
Henri you scared your mom when you were little she thought you were ill and she frantically searched for help. When she thought she had exhausted all avenues of help she turned around to find you hanging upside down in your cage watching her.
I know about how you liked to sit in your can of mud and how your mommy would have to wipe off your muddy little bottom.
I am sure there are many more stories will be posted here about you from people who know your mommy.
But I want to say I was honored to have shared in even a little part of your life. Someday I hopefully will get to meet you in the fur.
We will try to comfort your mommy. But it will take time Henri.
