Night time visitors to the feeder

Do you think that they really glide in? They look a little heavy to be getting airborne. Or do they just live close to the food and "scurry" over to it on foot?

Thank you SO much. They are really beautiful, and I love the way they hunker down on top of their feet. I know the northerns have fur on their feet, but I still have this urge to make them all little fur lined fleece booties!
