Noticed this little flyer at the feeder has a few battle scars on it's head. I'm not sure if it's from another squirrel or a preadator who missed. I think he will be alright, it doesn't look like it's done him any major harm.

I don't worry about cats this time of the year, when it's this cold, you can bet they won't be outside. If they are, they freese their tails and ears off very quickly at these temps. If they are out for any length of time. They are history. Folks who own cats here know better to let them out when it's this cold. Most of the time cats won't even venture forth outside, we have no feral cats in the winter. They just can't survive.

brrrrrrr!!!!!!!! but that is good that there are no cats to worry about!
