Flyers in my yard

I know this may silly but tonight I saw a flyer for the first time. Squerly told me they come at dusk but no luck until tonight. I rushed in the house for a flash light ( I know! they dont like it) and sure enough it ran off or glided off. I saw the flyers large eyes glowing. Neat!

I wish NOW that I didn't use a flashlight so a lesson learned Squerly!! I should have listened...never again i promise! :bowdown
Maybe it was the 500,000 candle watts in the spot light that ruined a special moment.

That is so cool that you got to see one. Just sit patient and they will come every day if there is food. Maybe put a light off to one side so you will be able to see them but it doesn't blind them. They are very fast and don't sit long. But boy they are beautiful to watch fly in.

Oh how exciting Rebecca! I'm sure they'll come back as long as they knows there's food. And they will probably tell their friends, so maybe you'll be seeing some more flyers at your feeder as time goes by! You're supposed to be able to have a light shine on the feeder and they'll get used to it.

Ya I think a that was a little bright. I used to have a stop light for my dogs and thing would make it look like it was day agian.
