Looks like and feels like a cross between dehydrated fruit {as in boat anchor fruit cake} and beef jerky.
Chicken and sweet potato are the only ingredients.
I got them at Publix, $2.99. Product of China.

I feed mine something similar - 'Chicken Chips' (100% chicken breast, small circles about the size of a nickle) and 'Chicken Poppers' (little marble sized balls of chicken and rice). Both are made by Vitalife, and I get them in the dog treats department at PetSmart. They are hard and dry - sounds like they are eating a nut when they eat them. All of my flyers LOVE them. They're a great protein source.

If the only ingredients are chicken and sweet potato, then yeah, I'd give that to Penny.

I use the Chicken Chips and Chicken Poppers MS mentioned.

I have heard that dog food is ok for flyers to eat as a snack from time to time.

I personally wouldn't feed mine dogfood - there's just too many ingredients that I don't know about. But the treats I feed mine are either 100% chicken or a mix of chicken and rice.

I have to go out today anyway, going to send Chrissy and Lucy some sq goodies! Fleece, lots of fleece...it is on sale again at Hancock fabrics...Solid Color Northern Lights are $2.99 a yard! :wahoo :wahoo
BTW, is there anything you can think of that I should ALSO include in her care package????{Chrissy and Lucy's}
